Jan and l have traveled with this team (NEVOSH) for several years (pre and post COVID) (20+ trips) so we are familiar with the logistics, and it is well planned. This will be a good-sized group (50 or so) consisting of medical, dental, pharmacy and primarily vision. Here is the official announcement of this mission:
We are thrilled to officially announce the NEVOSH January 2025 mission to Panama January 18-26, 2025! The sign-up process begins today.
We will be working again in Churuquita Gande in the Coclé Province at the Instituto Carmen Conte Lombardo. This will be our 4th time in this area (after 2015, 2020, and 2024). We will again be hosted by the Dorado Rotary Club who are already well underway with the planning. The comfortable Hotel Coclé will act as our home base.
The itinerary for the week will remain the same as always. The group will assemble at Tocumen International Airport in Panama City on Saturday Jan 18th and will be transported to the mission site hotel. On Sunday we’ll spend the day setting up the main clinic and the satellite clinic. Monday through Thursday will be filled with treating patients. Friday and Saturday will be optional R&R days (location TBD) before returning to the airport on Sunday Jan 26th.
