How can you achieve consistent communication most effectively and efficiently? The answer is the Kentucky Optometric Associations Partner Member Program. This program was created to enhance the relationship between Kentucky optometrists and companies that are supporters of optometry.

 

Since the beginning of the KOA Partner Membership program, the number of companies participating has continued to grow. Virtually 100% of the Partner Members renew each year. This tells us that they must be receiving high value for their investment.

 

Partner Membership provides you with opportunities that are not available otherwise to interact face to face with Kentucky optometrists. How much would it be worth to you to have the chance to talk about your company or products face to face with small groups of 20  50 doctors? How valuable would it be to have up to the minute demographic information on Kentucky optometrists including email addresses and details on which office they practice in on which days? How much would it be worth to get to meet all the newly licensed doctors at one time and tell them about your company? How beneficial would it be to you to be able to attend the Fall Education Conference and participate in all events with doctors and paras. Partners even get email notices of personal news items like illnesses and deaths of doctors and family members. These are just a few of the unique opportunities that only Partner Members experience each year.

 

In addition to personal interaction opportunities, Partner Members get constant name exposure before Kentucky ODs.  They are highlighted in all written publications, programs, and on the front page of our website, www.kyeyes.org. Promotional pieces are included in KOA News and other documents KOA members receive. At every meeting, KOA leaders frequently urge members to support those companies who support the KOA.

 

Kentucky optometrists do appreciate those companies that are Partner Members. It can open doors for you that have previously been closed.

 

 I definitely take into consideration whether a company is a KOA Partner Member when making practice decisions. Dr. Bill Reynolds, Richmond, KY. I instruct my staff to give special courtesy to sales reps wearing a KOA Partner member pin.
